RESPECT

Respect is reciprocal
     Is a great virtue
Not meant for hypocritical
     Minds that steals our future

Respect lifts one up
     When engaged with wisdom
Her knowledge is a credit
       Not a gift of debit

She speaks empathy
        Not sympathy
               Brings satisfaction
                          And promotion

Respect is a beauty
                 That enthrones dignity
    Opening doors of credibility
Which in turn satisfy your
Integrity

              Respect is a great virtue
              That requires patience
                        You earn it
                     Not demand it

Learn to give it
Not because you have much
But it's a virtue
For your future

Respect to all my kind
That I have found
Am grateful
For being truthful

I respect your gifts
And the fruits
Of poetry
