CHESS AND ME

I learnt the game of chess because it's a mind reading game, I loved it ever since. The more I played, I discovered it started having some significant effects on me. I'm go'n sum them all  under these two...

1. SELF CONFIDENCE
When I started playing the game, usually, those who were better in the game always influenced my choice of moves. I believed them because I knew they were better and could see what I wouldn't have seen even if left for years.

Definitely, I won and lost some games, but I wasn't improving. I knew it. There was this crave that wanted me to make decisions myself even if I lost. Soon enough, I shunned those trying to make moves for me.

Through self confidence, I've leant to make decisions myself and man up to what ever the result may be.

2. STRATEGY

Chess is a game full of strategies, analyses, and predictions. At first when I started making my moves, I made moves so beautifully planned until I discovered that my defence line was so porous, I had to re-strategize. To strategize again and again is a norm as long as the aim of winning is the priority.

When I began to improve, I learnt how to make several options as back up plans. One of the greatest things I learnt in the game of chess is never to be tensed. Plans will fail, strategies will be countered, defence lines will be tempered with (even broken and disorganized), and the attacking force will be clueless. Which ever happens, never be tensed. Stick to the plan. And while sticking to the plan, create new ones.

LIfe Proper...
When everything I learnt in the game of chess is applied to our daily lives, it would be clearly seen that lives would be changed for good.

What I've Learnt...
To be patient,
To believe in myself (Self Confidence)
Never be tensed when my plans ain't giving me what I want.
Be careful but never to care less when creating my strategies or taking risk
Be self confidence
Never to react because I was hit
Maintain my composure
Never to disclose my plans or next move
Know when and how to move
Know which move to make and why.
People vary, so deal with them accordingly.
...and many more.

Finally...
Be it the game of chess or living in reality, one needs to be FOCUSED!

NEVER EVER YOU LOSE FOCUS!
                          Peace✌
