You Only Live Once (YOLO)

It is what it is...
The heartbeat of love and hate,
the thrill of success and failure,
the irony of human emotions... for what it's worth you haven't really lived until that breathe itching noiselessly up and down your lungs leaves...it is what it is...YOLO
Every curl of her lip ached with mischief,
the twirl of her eyes subtle like karius on Gareth bale's shot...she lingered,
evaluating,
scheming ,
although her complexion is unknown she is not fair...some call her a bitch but no one really has the guts to bed her...
She knows the game, she sets the rules...
she always wins... because we all die... YOLO

STOLEN REJECTION

Skywards my bleeding eyes sees

Bleak weather, the goats strolling in their numbers

The birds hovering backwards

Strokes the wind that blows my toga

Alas! I still have a companion.

Even the dancing Iroko

On whom I fought many wars with kindred spirits

Pauses its chubby waist at my sight.

The river couldn't stop sighing when I stoop to drink

Only the fishes stroke the waters to sight me

I hissed I still have an admirer.

Though my beauty couldn't attract the mermaid

Familiars look downwards at my toes

Sniffing my dust with hate

My cries, that of a rejected Abiku

Nobody understands, only then the nightingale sings

Toh! Someone still cares.

Replacing people and cursing my chi

Became my lots, nothing moves me anymore

Then I found love in her

When she said she is lost too.

From my hollow skull

The rhythm of Ikoro glides motion from me

"He dances their coven dance", they said

Yeah! Someone still watches

The chains at my feet and hand

Couldn't rape my smiles,

The moon got scared of its radiance

Playing dodge and shine

Chai! There's still madness in me.

My rejection got stolen

As her nipples steal stealthy my innocent back.

Now rain from same skyward

Wipes my bleeding eyes.

Looking backward her gaiety and naivety graced me

Yes! I still want more life to live.
