BLACK SUNDAY

"Kasim calm down. Stop pacing round the room, you are getting me scared. What happened? Did Jo ditch you? Talk to me Kasim, what is it?"
Tears rolling like okpolu falls, drenching her makeup and the angel she was flew away. Kasim peeping through the window at the sound of Jo's  blare, picked up the pestle and waited at the door.
Kosi her twinne became a victim of what she christens. "Black Sunday"

****************************
Singing out loud from the bathroom, Julie begged  Kasim to enlist her in their sapping plans of Jo's pocket. Since freebies from a weakling doesn't choke and Jo is her maga, Kasim agreed to Julie's plea.

Her phone rang persistently for five minutes. Jo, getting exhausted drove down  his Venza to Kasim' s apartment. The bang on the door could open Valhalla.

"Nkem, so this is why you haven't opened the door? I have warned you about this your incessant earpiece use!"

Nkem is Kasim's friend but not in the same department. She visited her occasionally and that day was one of those days. With a pink bum short covering only her vagina region and a  low neckline showing her cleavages, she ran to open the door; only for Jo to bump into her embrace.

"Woooo...I am sorry." Jo pleaded. To Kasim, he asked what happened, and why she didn't pick his call?

"Eiyaaa sugar pie, baby boooo, pinpopo...I am sorry didn't know it was ringing, I was in the bathroom trying to look good for you. Or don't you want me to look good?"

Blushing like Ekenma sheep, Jo concurred to her looking good as she held him in her bosom.

"Kasim, please come over and help me with my bra hook, Julie called..."

"Dear I am sorry. Don't think I will be going out with you two, my maga also called me. Why not take Nkem with you?"

"Nkem, help me with my makeup kit, Julie called out again."
"Babe! what's this with you and help me with this and that this noon?" Nkem retorted.
"Nkem I want you to go with Kasim to do some drilling on Jo's pocket."

...................................................
"Ladies order for anything, the bill is on me."
Psquare's "chop my money" graced the evening more at the hillstone restaurant. At the other corner Arsenal is losing to Nottingham.
Nkem leaped and shouted with joy, Jo wasn't happy because he is an Arsenal fan, Kasim was indifferent; only interested in tearing the chicken laps and demanding for more fruit juice to it.
Argument ranged between Nkem and Jo, and betting ensued afterwards; which Nkem won Ten thousand Naira from.
The end of the match got Jo thrilled but something changed in him. All the gisting was directed to Nkem, he took her side of thought even against Kasim's.

Nkem is not just an enlightened girl but free spirited. Sighting her coursemate on a lone chair at the same restaurant, she immediately excuse herself and told her host that they can go home without her. Jo, a changed name won't let this chance slip his fingers. Yes, he may be a maga, mugun or whatever Kasim took him for but he knew when he was making gain and loss; that's what kept his business flourishing.
"Nkem not so fast, please can you help me with your phone numbers. Let's argue and bet more on football." The rage in Kasim could refine Nigeria crude oil. At this instance, she stood up and took her leave. Jo took Nkem's number as she flipped her page to her coursemate, and then paid for their bill of thirty-three thousand, five hundred naira.

.............................
When he couldn't locate Kasim, the gentleman in him advised him to drive to Kasim's apartment. The silence he met at the door steps, could be the only thing to interpret the result of Kasim' s rage. She had victimized her twin with the pestle in her hands.

From the prison of my heart, I share this story for all to learn.
