DEATH
I feel that I am noxious,
Looking into the eyes of death, with the reaper staring back at me,
Waiting for my last breath.
The heat sweltering through my skin,
Sweat gushing from y pores.
Staring at eternal sleep, Wonder becomes overwhelming
Escorted into this aimless journey,
For a price you can’t resist.
The clock ticks as your breath begin to sleep,
Into the journey of no return you start to creep.
As you lay on your cradle bed,
The calls of the great beyond shall knock on your door,
Your pitiable self shall leave you sore
The days light shall escape your sight
And the morning’s sun shall be unto you as night
Enraptured in death’s claws
Found wanting as the reaper calls
As you see that unending flame burning intensively before your eyes,
And all your earthly deeds flashing through your trembling mind.
You already know your fate but still pray for mercy sake
But mercy is long gone far away covered by your mistakes behind.
For then you’ll tremble at the face of death.
