A LETTER TO WIVES

Dear Wives,

 

From the experiences of women I have seen, discussed with and read about coupled with the few years I have spent in Marriage, I have come to realize that Part of what kills a Marriage faster is Comparison (uncontrolled Wishful Thinking). So many women have sunk into depression, others have made grave mistakes, some others have spat out healthy chunks of their marital lives while an alarming number have lost their marriage due to this attitude.
I always tell women close to me or those who care to listen that comparing their Husbands to other men is like blowing out the air of their Marital Bliss. The truth is No Man is perfect including that Man you are drooling over. Learn to understand your husband and allow him love you the Way he knows best.

I have  mentioned it before that Men have different modalities. Some can be very pushy and loud with their affections while some just wanna be private and cool with their affections. The fact that your Husband isn't showing you off on social media, to friends or flaunting you in the streets of Romance isn't evident that he doesn't love you.
The fact that your Husband isn't spoiling you with gifts and taking you to choice places shouldn't make you think he doesn't love you.
The fact that he doesn't compliment your everyday looks or whisper sweet nothings into your ears all the time isn't a pointer that he doesn't love you.
Learn to UNDERSTAND YOUR HUSBAND!

I Know of a man who doesn't compliment his wife often to her hearing but can pull down the world for her. To say He adores her is an understatement.

I Know of another man who spoils his wife with gifts and comforts of life but will rarely be seen with her. He is a very private person. That is his Modality.

Mr A whom you admiring or wishing He is your Husband  May be a Wife beater but comes to social media to cover up.
Mr B May be a Mama's Boy whose mother or family direct his decisions as such putting his wife in perpetual slavery yet he flaunts her around.
Mr C May always spend time with his wife but seizes every platform to abuse her Verbally.

I wish we would all be awoken to the world we are in where people camouflage happiness and Romance just to fit into the system.

STOP LISTENING TO OTHER WOMEN!

Stop listening to fellow women who rant about how their husbands give them heaven on earth. They could just be professing their wishes because in the real sense, their husbands May be irresponsible.

Stop listening to women who advise you not to take shit or tolerate your husband's excesses because these women actually lick their husbands feet.

Don't listen to women who advise you to do things or go places without your husband's Knowledge or consent because when issues break out, they would deny you.

Don't listen to women who encourage you to Stand up to your Husband all the time never to let him have his way. Remember, you are a WIFE and Submission is very Key.

Don't listen to women who always talk ill of their husbands and how useless men are generally yet they are marking wedding Anniversary every year.

Stop listening to women who tell you they don't enjoy Sex  or who tell you there is nothing pleasant in Sex yet they get pregnant every now and then.

Stop trying to be like women who show off riches and golds because you don't know their sources.

Not every woman you see with a smile is happy indeed.
Not every woman you see wearing make up is adored. Some women actually hide their scars under make up.

Stop pressuring your Husband to live above his limit.
Stop comparing him with other men because those men could be wearing a mask to appear suitable to the public eye.
Stop wishing your Husband was Mr Lagbaja or Mr Elenu. You don't know what the wives of those men are going through.

Be Grateful for the man God gave you. He May not give you riches but He gave you peace of mind.
Appreciate the efforts of your Husband no matter how little.
If there is a Character or attitude you detest , Talk to him with love and respect. Even if he doesn't change, don't become a nagging or monstrous wife because that wouldn't change him either.
Pray for your Husband at all times. Delilahs are not asleep.
Stop admiring other men. Devote such passion into Grooming your man.
You can groom your man to your preference.  Am a testifier to that. It's a gradual process but with patience and love, IT Is POSSIBLE!

Pray for your husbands
Respect your Husbands
Cook for your Husbands
Pamper your Husbands
Submit to your Husbands
Care for your Husbands
Spoil your Husbands
Protect your Husbands
Be patient with your HusbandS
Understand your Husbands
Stand with your Husbands
Appreciate Your Husbands
Make Good love to your Husbands. Don't wait for him to always initiate sex.

Unavoidably, Misunderstandings are bound to occur. Do not bring in a third party. Shout, scream, yell but be careful with your words because once you spill them out, u can't take them back. After airing your grievances, FORGIVE YOUR HUSBANDS.

But please, If your Husband keep portraying attitudes that threaten your life and peace of mind, Quietly leave the Marriage if you can't tolerate it to avoid Grave mistakes.
