Looking at Nigeria's history, without doubt she is a clueless country which lacked the creativity and has no insight on the right step to take away from where she was when the colonial matters left in 1960.
The change mantra, without dissension, has gone beyond it ordinary contextual meaning with the sudden political change in the epoch diary of the West African region of African continent (Nigeria).
Nigeria, since her independence on October 1ST 1960 has been under shackle of corruption, crime, terrorism, and seat-tight syndrome by the callous, myopic and sans visionary leaders as her pilots.
Corruption, without debate is the fatty canker worm that has eaten deep all sectors of Nigeria’s economy as religious organisations are not left untouched.
We need no soothsayer to tell us that corruption has opened doom gate to accommodate destruction of lives and property, embezzlement of refinery sectors’ fund, pipe vandalism, illegal diversion of fund in banking sectors, cyber crime and lack of qualitative education of which no part of the country is left behind.
Without much ado, failure of the Nigerian government to cater for the citizens and the resources which are meant for citizens as dividend of “ Demo crazy” being embezzled or used for personal purpose could be the cause of Boko Haram agitation and Mr. Kanu sorry Biafra agitation.
Any existing country in the world who suffers from this syndrome (corruption) will witness strike and criminal acts which could lead to mass spread of violence and Disestablishmentarianism.
Do we need to argue here that corruption is that Judas who houses rape, homosexuality, bisexuality, heterosexuality, genocide, anti ethnicity, and theft? What about how it nurses examination malpractices and cultism in various institutions today? But sadly, Insurgence and crime today is caused by failure of government to provide jobs for Nigerian graduates holding various degrees; which is abuse of human resources, “Idling their minds and hands, making them the devil’s workshop”.
Let me draw the curtain here with some should-dos for our government. The drastic solution to these heart-itching social vices affecting the federation is that, stakeholders, government and all states of the federation should work together to providing solution to the following, without being politicized.
1. Creation of jobs and vocational centres to help the masses at large.
2. Creation and rehabilitation of hospitals to include cancer center.
3. Construction of infrastructure and supply of electricity.
4. Recruitment of youths to the various security arms.
I hope this laconic argument and alert will be of drastic change to Nigeria, and the world at large.
